A child's bedtime becomes a fantastical journey through life's ages, inspired by "Gulliver's Travels."
This imaginative play, set in the magical liminal space of a child's bedroom at night, uses shadow and light to explore the different stages of life. It’s a gentle, playful way for children and parents to reflect on time, growth, and the power of imagination, all while drawing on the familiar framework of Jonathan Swift's classic. Director Milda Mičiulytė, in her debut at Lėlė, aims to remind audiences that the best time is "now" and encourages parents to engage with their children through play and conversation. The production cleverly uses the concept of "theater within theater" to show how simple objects can spark incredible adventures, making it a thoughtful experience for families.
